The short version

Aluvra is an AI writing assistant for Microsoft Word. We collect the minimum data we need to run the product, store it in regions outside mainland China on managed cloud providers, never sell it, and never train our underlying models on your documents.

1. Who we are

Aluvra is operated by the Aluvra team. Contact us at support@aluvra.ai for anything related to your data.

2. What we collect

  • Account info. The email address you sign up with, your name and avatar if you sign in via Google, and a password hash if you set one.
  • Conversations. The messages you send to Aluvra and the model replies, so we can show your chat history.
  • Uploaded files. Files you attach to a conversation or upload to your AI Drive. Stored on Cloudflare R2.
  • Personalization. The nickname, profile, and traits you save in Settings. Used solely to tailor model responses.
  • Usage data. Credit transactions (model used, time, amount) and basic telemetry needed for billing and product improvement.

3. What we do NOT do

  • We do not sell your data.
  • We do not use your documents to train AI models.
  • We do not share your data with advertisers.
  • We do not read your conversations except when responding to a support request you start.

4. Third parties we use

To deliver model responses we forward your messages to one of:

  • Anthropic (Claude models)
  • Google (Gemini models)
  • OpenAI (GPT models)
  • DeepSeek (DeepSeek models)
  • Moonshot (Kimi models)

Each provider has its own privacy policy. We send only the messages and files needed for the current turn, no account identifiers beyond what is required to authenticate.

5. Where data is stored

Account, conversation, and personalization data are stored in a managed Postgres database in the United States. Uploaded files are stored on Cloudflare R2 with global distribution. Data in transit is always TLS- encrypted.

6. Your rights

You can export, correct, or delete your account data at any time by emailing support@aluvra.ai. We process such requests within 7 days.

7. Changes to this policy

We will email signed-in users at least 14 days before any material change to this policy.
